Rainy, rainy, rainy.

Hi!
How are you doing?
The weather hasn't been good these days.
The climate is greatly changing.
Especially the temperature!
It's getting colder and colder...
This reminds me of my hometown in Niigata.
We have a lot of snow in winter!
Have you ever seen two meter snow walls?
You can see them in Niigata!
And if you feel interest in skiing, why don't you go skiing?
There are good ski grounds in Niigata.
Gosh...
I miss my hometown...

Some of you know that I'm a drummer, I guess.
And the day for school festival is drawing near!
I belong to a band circle and I'm going to perform at Sagamihara festival as a band.
But we have to pass the selection to choose the bands that will perform at the festival.
Now we're waiting for the result...
The result aside, we're going to play some rock music.
'American Idiot' by Green Day, 'The Hell Song' by Sum 41 and 'Neomelodramatic' by Porno Graffitti.
They are quite famous songs and loved by so many people.
I think you've listened to them before.

Here is the video clip of 'American Idiot' ↓↓↓

I'm sorry that I couldn't find the good video of 'Neomelodramatic' in You Tube.
Anyway, if you have time, please please please come and see our gig!
I hope you'll enjoy it!

By the way, I went to the chapel in AGU today... no, yesterday.
This was the second time to be there.
I'm not a Christian, but I'm really interested in the connection between faith and music.
Hymns for Christians, the Koran for Muslims, Okyo for Buddhists...
However, there is strange connection these days.
Some Christian musicians sing songs about Jesus Christ or the Bible with rock and pop music.
I think it is good because it is easier for young people to accept rock and pop music rather than hymns.
But, of course, there are a lot of criticism.
Some say it is profanity to sing to God with DIRTY rock music with SACRED words.
What do you think about this difficult problem?
Well, I agree with both sides.
Okay, I give you an example.
This song is called 'Sound Of Melodies' by Leeland, a rock band from America.
Please ignore the subtitle in the video below.

How was it?
This song got many awards.
The song is great, but the problem is another.
Too hard for me to consider the religious matter.
So tell me your opinion!

Already four o'clock!
Well...
Good night.
