The Killers

The Killers is my favorite American pop band. Though all the members are Americans, it is popular in UK. Of course, in America, either.
The Killers
(L to R)
Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (drums, percussion)
Mrak Stoermer (bass guitar)
Dave Kuening (lead guitar)
Brandon Flowers (lead vocals, keyboard)

Sadly, the band announced that they would take a short break after being on the road for the better part of six years. However, it is said that they are going to reconvene in May. I really want to see them sooooooon!

The music video of "Read My Mind" from The second album called "Sam's town" is quite interesting because it was shot in Tokyo. Gachapin is in the video.lol Here's the video.

I hope they will come back soon!

Niigata 3

The third (last) day in Niigata. In that day, I was totally relaxed at home. For lunch, we ate Italian, which is Niigata's soul food (some would say it B-kyu Gourmet)! I like this so much though some Niigata people don't. Also, I ate an original cup noodle that a local TV program produced. Well, this was, even to put it lightly, terrible. But, ya, it was memorable.
In the afternoon, I was really relaxed again. I watched TV, chated with my family, played a new video game with brothers, and ate dinner my mother made.
Well, now I miss Niigata so much... I hope my family and friends in Niigata have a good life there.

Niigata 2

The second day in Niigata. At night, I went to an izakaya that father of my brother's friend is running to meet my grandparents. I was so happy to see them after a long time. They always support me, and thanks to them and my parents, now I'm here. I really appreciate them all.

We shared a lot of stories of my and my brothers' childhood.
By the way, the Tsukune that the izakaya serves is one of the best Tsukune in the world! Next time I go back, I will visit there to eat it.

Niigata 1

In the first day I went back to Niigata, I met my close friends and went drink. I was with three friends: one girl of them is a student of teikyo University (and living in near Hachioji), another girl of them belongs to Niigata University and the only boy of them belongs to Akita University (he was the captain of our baseball team when we were junior high students). We went to Hukuhuku-ya to have some drink though it was not SOME, hahaha.

We had a really great time. After that, we went to karaoke. We'd been there from 11 p.m. to 5 p.m. We sang every song that we could sing. And again, we started drinking (though those three didn't drink so much. I was definitely the heviest drinker there...)

After I took them to their home, I walked around places of memories for me such as my junior high, a park, a gym, wherever I could go on foot. While I was walking, it started snowing, which made me feel sooooooo comfortable.

It was a great time.

Mt. Takao

I went to Mt. Takao to pray for happines and good health in the new year. Japanese usually call it Hatsumoude. There were the huge number of people. It was really crowded. I took some pictures.

I ate Toshikoshi-soba at a soba noodle shop where some members of AKB48 visited for coverage. Tororo-soba was really good!

A happy new year

How was your life in 2010? For some of you (including myself), 2010 was a challenging year because we entered AGU and became university students.

In this year, I want to go abroad only by myself. This is one of my goals in this year. Let me pick up some of them. Going abroad, studying English and Chinese more deeply, improving my druming skill, make more friends (this is serious one...lol), reading hundreds of books... and more! Did you get any your goal yet?

I'm still in Hachioji. I really want to go back to Niigata. I saw no snow in this winter. It is totally strange for me. And I didn't eat Osechi and even Mochi. But I can finally go back tomorrow night! Have a good you new year's days!

Konyec

This is Hungarian movie that got a prize in Hungary. The story is like this. A husband and a wife live in an apartment. They are spending poor life because they can have their little pension. They cannot pay even the house rent. They are feeling anger against society that doesn't pay attention to old people. They decide to commit a robbery to get some money though they are already over 70. After they commit robberies some times, old people in Hungary stand and start demonstration. They moved society.

I won't tell you the climax of this movie. If you get interest, watch it by yourself. It's a heart-warming story, so everyone can like it.

We need to pay attention to old people and respect them because Japan has the huge number of old people. I learned it from this movie. Anyway, the movie itself is interesting, though.
